Hector Garcia

Hector Garcia, BS, CADC, NCGC-II, has been an addictions counselor for 20 years. He has worked for the DCGP since 2000, treating problem gamblers and providing training at individual and group levels. He is also DCGP’s Inter-Agency Services Expansion Director, providing problem gambling screening, assessment, and treatment for clients at alcohol and drug rehabilitation clinics.

Timothy Meade

Timothy Meade, BS, MSW, LMSW, ICGC-I has worked in the child protective, emergency family service, mental health, substance abuse, addiction, and correctional fields since 1998. He has worked with adults, adolescents, and families throughout his career. He is a Licensed Master Social Worker and an International Certified Gambling Counselor. Timothy graduated from Delaware State University with his Master's Degree in Social Work in 2003 and his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1998. Timothy completed his studies in gambling addiction through the University of Minnesota Duluth in collaboration with the North American Training Institute in 2017. He has experience in case management, assessment, and treatment of clients with mental health diagnoses and addictions. He has experience with treatment for co-occurring disorders, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and individual or group therapy. Timothy regularly shares his personal experience, strength, and hope to raise awareness of gambling disorder along with the daily joys of continued recovery. He offers individual and family supportive gambling addiction counseling through referrals from the Delaware Council on Gambling Problems. His approach to counseling is strength based, person centered, and empowerment based approaches. Timothy has a private practice in Dover, DE. 

Lisa Noland

Lisa Noland

Lisa Noland began her career in the helping field in 2014 as a Peer Support Specialist working in the field of addictions. She also has experience in case management and at varying levels of residential care. She completed her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wilmington University in 2021 and is part of a private practice located in Sussex County. Lisa's approach to counseling and wellness is rooted in person-centered and strength-based approaches.

Audwin Odom

Audwin Odom

Audwin Odom is a licensed master social worker, a certified drug and alcohol counselor, and an International Certified Gambling Counselor-I. Audwin graduated from Delaware State University with a master’s in social work. He has experience in case management, assessment, and treatment of clients with mental health diagnoses and addictions. He has experience with treatment for co-occurring disorders, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and individual and group therapy. Audwin uses his personal experience, strength, and hope to raise awareness of gambling disorders and addiction from substance use. His favorite saying is “We do recover.” He offers individuals and families supportive gambling addiction counseling through referrals from the Delaware Council on Gambling Problems. His counseling is founded on strength-based, person-centered, and empowerment-based approaches, with a focus on acceptance, kindness, and accountability.

Marc Treanor

Marc Treanor

Marc Treanor has been helping people with addictions and compulsive behaviors for almost 20 years. Most recently, he earned a master's degree in clinical counseling from Wilmington University. In addition to substance abuse, Marc specializes in process addictions, such as gambling, relationships, sexual behaviors, internet use, etc. He uses an eclectic type of therapy that includes person-centered, CBT, mindfulness, EFT, and Internal Family Systems. Marc has office locations in Wilmington and Philadelphia.

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

Jeff Wasserman practiced law for more than thirty years in Wilmington.  He earned a J.D. in 1982 from Delaware Law School/Widener University, M.P.A. in 1979 from New York University and B.A. in 1977 from University of Rhode Island.  Jeff has been abstinent from gambling since 2015 and regularly shares his personal story in order to raise awareness of gambling disorder and the joys of recovery.  Jeff recently became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. Certified Peer Recovery Specialists are specially trained professionals who have lived experience with mental illness, addiction and co-occurring conditions AND recovery, and, support others going through similar life challenges they once experienced.  They assist individuals in developing the skills and resources they need to live an independent and productive life in the community.

Florence White

Florence White

Flo White has experience in assessment and treatment of clients with addictions. She is currently working on her Master's in clinical mental health counseling. She also has experience with patient treatment for co-occurring diagnosis and case management. She often works with other agencies and/or mental health professionals in consultation for positive patient outcomes. In addition to motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy, she has experience in group therapy. She offers individual as well as family supportive counseling. Flo has a private practice in Sussex county.
